The House of Mirth.
This wedding is a sentimental favorite for me. When Kim told me she was getting married at The Mount, the house Edith Wharton built in the Berkshire hills of Massachusetts, my inner literary nerd could hardly contain herself. Floating on a cloud of inspiration, I convinced her that her dress absolutely had to be made from some very special, authentic, fragile hundred-year-old lace. Black lace. Ivory silk underlay, column silhouette--very Edwardian. Very Wharton, if you will. Kim was, in every way, a complete joy to work with, and the dress couldn't have suited her better. I feel honored to have such a lovely client. Best wishes, Kim and Dan!

New for 2013...
Siren. Deco embroidered tulle is layered over ivory stretch satin. The illusion neckline scoops deep front and back, and is finished with a delicate band of satin. The curvaceous silhouette has a dramatic flounced skirt. Elegant and effortlessly sexy.

Yeah!
Yeah! Weddings and a group of very talented vendors teamed up recently to award one lucky couple (Melanie and Kelcey!) a free wedding. The bride had her choice of beautiful gowns from Lovely in Los Angeles, and I'm honored she chose one of mine!
Isn't Melanie a dish? Hear more of their story (and see more pics!) on 100 Layer Cake and Green Wedding Shoes.
