I don't know what's cuter...

...the precious, perfect, Mint-Meltaway-green vintage Jaguar that parked outside my shop...
or the dapper gentleman in plaid coat and beret who came to claim it. He was dropping off some pants to the tailor across the street. I watched his every move. With that ride, you shouldn't have to pay the parking meter. So he didn't.

And yes, the steering wheel is on the right.

AW~ I love this. Matt has a very old volvo p1800... he's been flirting with the idea of revamping it. If he does, I'm pushing him to paint it this minty green color! -I hope all is well!! Myra

I read all of your posts (and occasionally pop into your shop), but I don't think I've ever commented here. It's the random post that made me come out of the woodwork. I see this guy around town (my husband pointed him out to me at first - we both swoon over the car). I love all of his dapper ways. Fun to see him mentioned here today.

....... this must be the one my friend eric from seattle was talking about that caused such a sensation whilst he was waiting for his fiancee tess who was trying on dresses. a beret is so much preferable to a top-hat........

Wonderful car, love the man! I have always past by your store in the off hours and it looks so lovely from the outside. I will one day make it inside.
